The women in China were taken advantage of by the Japanese troops, the women weren't allowed to have children either during this genocide so if they were pregnant they were killed.
There was nothing left of Nanjing after the massacre. In other genocides the city is left alone and the people are killed, but the Japanese were relentless and burned down houses, churches, everything was burned to the ground.
Chiang Kai-Shek and his government were arrested after the war for war crimes and were put in jail. If Kai-Shek had stayed and helped his city the crimes may have been dropped but since him and his government fled they were thrown in jail.
